Chapter 1776

---

Sabrina paused to consider this comparison and found it surprisingly accurate, although she quickly let the thought pass.

That evening, after their outing, Sabrina stopped by the grocery store for dumpling wrappers to make Jennies favorite dumplings. She guided Jennie through the steps of dumpling making, though Jennies attempts turned out quite uneven. It was something Sabrina had anticipated.

Following their dinner, Sabrina drove Jennie back to the Wilson Estate.

Considering the lengthy flight back to Mathias would be too time- consuming, Sabrina opted to finalize the retouched photos for the financial magazine first. She selected four negatives and dedicated the following day to meticulous retouching.

A day and a half later, after submitting the refined photos, the editors response arrived in her inbox. The photos dont meet our standards. Please redo them.

As Sabrina read through the email, she was utterly surprised. It didnt make any sense. She had burned the midnight oil the previous night and resumed her editing work on the photos early this morning, dedicating a substantial amount of effort to each to ensure they adhered to the magazines publication standards.

Consequently, Sabrina wrote back, Could you clarify what exactly is below standard? This will help me make the necessary adjustments.

However, the editor did not respond.

Sabrina painstakingly reviewed each photo again, confirming their quality. She wondered if perhaps the layout was the problem. She experimented with the sizes and arrangement of the photos and resent them to the editor.

After a while, the editor responded, Still not good enough. Redo them.

Sabrina was stunned. She quickly typed, What exactly is wrong with them? Why wont you explain?

The editor remained silent once more.

Anger bubbled up in Sabrina. She couldnt help but suspect that White were singling her out deliberately because she had not shown him deference on the day of the photo shoot.

As Sabrina focused on retouching the photos, Kira received two sets of photos. One was from a restaurant, and the other was from a small town in the suburbs.

In the first set, there were only Sabrina, Rita, and Horace. Horace had a warm smile, Rita looked graceful and elegant, and Sabrina appeared youthful and pretty. They sat together, having dinner, looking like a harmonious family.

This perfect image deeply hurt Kira. Horace had dumped her, Tyrone was hostile toward her, Wanda was dissatisfied with her, and even Jennie was taken away from her. Her life was fcked up because of Horace!

But what about Rita? She was still Horaces legal wife. With Rita mending her relationship with Sabrina and Tyrone treating Rita with respect, her position in the Fowler family was only getting stronger.

Kira couldnt accept this! Everything Rita had now was supposed to be hers!

With a flash of jealousy, Kira tore the photo into pieces.

In the second set, Rita, Sabrina, and Jennie were on a botanical garden trip together.

Kira glared at the three faces in the photo, her eyes cold and venomous. Bitch! ALL three of them were bitches! Rita, the old bitch, stole Horace from her. Sabrina, that little bitch, turned Tyrone against her! And Jennie was an ungrateful brat!

Kira abruptly stood up, swiping everything off the table onto the floor. Crack!

Right then, her assistant hurried in, saw the chaos, and calmly whispered something to Kira.

Kiras rage subsided a bit. She looked at the assistant and asked, Really? Ill be right there.
